These glass like pear blossoms are part of my Secret Garden collection. In our backyard there is a pear tree. The former owners of our home planted it, and although it might have born fruit years ago, it's well past its prime now. However, it does produce the most delicate and ethereal blossoms. I found them one morning, all covered with dew, and looking so see-throughish and glass like, that they almost seemed unreal. And that is what inspired this painting.
