The story behind "It's an Ice Cream Day": When Roo the chick woke up on Saturday, the summer sun was already high in the sky, beating down on his little orange toes. As he wandered around the farmyard, he stumbled across some strawberries the farm children had dropped, and got a marvelous idea. He headed to the barn and begged some cream from the cow, then raced home and made his very own tiny cone of strawberry ice cream. Although it was a hot day for all that hard work, Roo felt it was worth the time.
