Exciting News!

Hi friends, it’s been awhile! But I haven't stopped working on projects in my absence—I wouldn’t be me if I had! So I thought I’d pop in and share a few things I’ve been working on, the first of which is my new profile pic across social media!

This piece was an interesting one to do, I never do human faces, so it is far from perfect, but I have long wanted a profile photo created in my art style, so I'm happy with the result. This is also a good time to announce that I have gotten back on instagram, so if you're looking for shorter (possibly more frequent, but I can't promise anything) updates, you're welcome to follow me over there!

The next things I’ve been working on are what I am most excited to announce, because I have just added them to my shop on my website, drumroll please....

I've been working on first designing then creating these gorgeous bags, and I have been so thrilled with the results. I will hopefully be sharing a video to my instagram with the process soon, so you can see how it works...the design is created with cut heat activated vinyl, which I then press with very high heat onto large cotton canvas bags. It's a time consuming process, but the result is absolutely stunning, and I'm so excited to have these ready just in time for all the spring and summer picnics, trips to the farmers market and grocery store, or even to the pool or beach!

I've also finally added physical prints of all of the Forest Floor paintings to my website, so those are available now for anyone who has been looking for them.

I'm hoping to have some staple pieces available for sale permanently on my website from now on, so that there is always something there for anyone who wants some art. This will hopefully include these tote bags, but I am hoping also to be adapting new flower designs for them, so the daffodil and hibiscus bags might not be around forever, as they get swapped for new flowers.
